Not trying to be rude or harsh, but his style is an exact copy of Slugbox’s art style minus the details and shine in it.

It’s one thing to be in love with someone’s art style and draw it for the hell of it, but it’s not a good thing to draw in someone’s style to the point half of your gallery just… screams Slugbox and you know Slugbox’s style is very unique.

Since when does ANYONE own an ART STYLE? Just because someone has a style that they are well known for, DOES NOT mean they own it. Sure, Sluggy does great work. But he just didn’t fall out of his mother’s vagina holding a unique copyrighted art style in his hands. He had to LEARN it from SOMEWHERE. EVERYONE starts with their art looking like someone shat on a canvas and dipped in in sewage (This goes for ALL forms of art: Writing, photography, hell, even fencing and ballet). to quote the author of this post, “that may sound a little harsh”, but that’s how it is. Also, some may be more talented then others, but all they same, they start somewhere.

So next time you go and make another dumb fuck comment like that again, try considering styles like impressionism, cubism, and realism. Sure someone may have “invented” a style, but there is always a cause or inspiration that causes it to exist.
